White Labs WLP4052 Lida Kveik Ale Yeast is a single-strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolated from Samuel Lien’s farmhouse culture (circa 1980). Engineered for high-temperature fermentations (80–90 °F / 27–32 °C), this strain delivers tropical and stone fruit esters—think apricot and white wine grapes—while still showcasing malt balance. It attenuates between 75–82%, remains low flocculation, and handles high alcohol (10–15%) without stress. Ideal for hazy/jucy IPAs, saisons, and heat-driven fermentations.
