About SoCal Brewing Supply

SoCal Brewing Supply is a truly family-run business built to serve homebrewers, cider makers, mead makers, winemakers, sake brewers, and the broader fermentation community with care, knowledge, and real operational discipline. We are proud to be a shop where customers can find both strong product depth and thoughtful support from people who are genuinely invested in the craft.

Travis, co-owner of SoCal Brewing Supply

Travis

Co-Owner

Travis brings a rare combination of hands-on brewing passion, formal business education, military service, and deep supply chain experience to SoCal Brewing Supply. He served in the U.S. Army, holds a BA in Business Management, earned an MBA in International Business, and has an extensive background in supply chain management.

He began homebrewing in 2004 and has remained deeply committed to the craft ever since. Travis is especially drawn to the competitive side of beer making, where precision, process discipline, ingredient knowledge, and continuous refinement all matter. That same mindset carries directly into how the business operates, from product selection and inventory planning to the level of support customers receive.

Celeste, co-owner of SoCal Brewing Supply

Celeste

Co-Owner

Celeste helps lead the business with a strong attention to detail and a steady command of the financial side of operations. She manages finances with the kind of care and rigor that a small family business depends on, helping ensure the shop remains stable, disciplined, and able to continue serving customers well over the long term.

She holds a dual BA in English and French literature and also works as an editor for a major book publisher by day. That background brings a valuable mix of precision, communication skill, organization, and editorial judgment to SoCal Brewing Supply. Her constant attention and experience are a meaningful part of the company’s success and growth.

Sandi, general manager of SoCal Brewing Supply

Sandi

General Manager

Sandi brings extensive experience in product management, general management, and organizational leadership. Her ability to create structure, keep priorities moving, and support the day-to-day demands of a growing specialty business has been a major asset to SoCal Brewing Supply.

Although she once thought she was retiring, she came back to help run the business and has become an important part of what makes the shop work. She genuinely enjoys helping customers, talking shop, and being part of a business where people are usually happy to see you, which is something not every industry gets to offer.

Headshot Placeholder, Dave

Dave

Logistics and Local Operations Support

Dave, Travis's father-in-law, helps keep important local logistics moving. He supports a wide range of operational responsibilities including local order pickups, CO2 and nitrogen restocks, and select local delivery tasks that help the business stay responsive to customer needs.

A true jack of all trades, Dave is the kind of person who can step in wherever practical help, problem solving, or building is needed. Like Sandi, retirement turned out to be more active than expected, but at the end of the day it keeps him busy, healthy, and happy, and the business is stronger because of it.

Why This Business Exists

SoCal Brewing Supply exists because we love homebrewers and care deeply about supporting the community around them. This is not a passive investment and it is not a business built around easy margins. It is a real family effort that depends on commitment, coordination, and a willingness to do the hard work required to serve customers well.

No one is getting rich here. The business is a balancing act, and that balance only works because the whole family supports it. What keeps it worthwhile is the chance to help people make better beer, better cider, better mead, better wine, and better sake, while building real relationships with customers who care about the craft.

What We Value

  • Knowledgeable and practical customer support
  • Strong ingredient and equipment depth for serious hobbyists
  • Careful operations, purchasing, and fulfillment
  • Long-term trust with local and online customers
  • Supporting the broader homebrewing and fermentation community

Thank You for Supporting a Family Business

Every order, every local visit, every recommendation, and every returning customer helps keep SoCal Brewing Supply moving forward. We are grateful for that support, and we work hard to earn the trust behind it.

We are proud to serve a community of makers, brewers, and experimenters, and we appreciate everyone who chooses to support a business built on real passion for the craft.
