This versatile crystal malt contributes a deep reddish hue and works especially well in Bitters, Ruby Ales, Amber Ales, and darker English styles. As a medium crystal malt, it bridges the gap between light and dark crystals, offering structure, color, sweetness, and body without cloying overkill.
