Fermentation Requirements
This is a lager kit and requires cool fermentation control. Pitch W-34/70 around 48–52°F, ferment cool, raise for a diacetyl rest near the end, and lager cold for the cleanest finish.
Detailed Kit Contents
The kit ships with:
- Weyermann® Bohemian Pilsner Malt: 140 oz
- Weyermann® CARAFOAM® Dextrin Malt: 5 oz
- Weyermann® Melanoidin Malt: 3 oz
- Warrior Hops – U.S. Grown T-90 Pellets: 1 oz
- Saaz Hops - Czechia Grown T-90 Pellets: 2 oz
- Perle Hops - German Grown T-90 Pellets: 2 oz

Flavor and Brewing Character
Expect pale gold color, crisp malt, firm clean bitterness, and floral-spicy noble hop character from Saaz and Perle. The beer should finish clean and refreshing, with lager smoothness from proper cold fermentation.
Brewing Notes
- Use the full 90 minute boil: This supports a cleaner pilsner wort.
- Cool before whirlpool: Add Saaz and Perle around 170°F for aroma without rough bitterness.
- Respect the diacetyl rest: Do not package while buttery character remains.
If you are bottle conditioning, you will need to purchase Priming Sugar, sold separately. Use our Priming Sugar Calculator to determine the ideal amount.
