Popular styles include Barleywine, a rich, malty ale with deep caramel and dark fruit notes. Imperial Stout is a bold, high-ABV stout with complex roasted malt character, chocolate, and coffee flavors. Doppelbock is a strong German lager with smooth malt sweetness, toasted bread notes, and a clean finish. Eisbock, made by freezing and removing water, results in a highly concentrated and smooth lager with deep malt complexity.
