Why Use a Storage Solution?

• Extends electrode life: Prevents the glass membrane and junction from drying out.
• Improves stability: Helps the probe reach a stable pH reading more quickly.

• Ready to use: No mixing required—just pour into the cap or storage vessel.

How to Use

• Daily storage: Rinse the probe with clean water, gently blot, then store the bulb/junction immersed in storage solution (fill the protective cap or a small vial).
• If the probe dries out: Soak the tip in storage solution for at least 1–2 hours (longer if heavily dried), then recalibrate before use.
• Do not store in DI/RO water: It can damage the reference system and shorten probe life.

Best Practices

• Rinse with clean water between measurements to avoid cross-contamination.
• Keep some solution in the cap at all times so the sensor never dries.
• Pair with Milwaukee calibration buffers (pH 7.01 / 4.01 / 10.01) for routine accuracy checks.
