Kegs
Kegs for Homebrewing, Kegerators, and Draft Beverage Systems
Kegs are the core storage and serving vessel for draft beer, cider, mead, sparkling water, cold brew, and other kegged beverages. This collection includes homebrew kegs, Cornelius-style kegs, commercial-style draft kegs, smaller keg options, and related kegging parts for building or expanding a draft setup.
Most homebrewers start with ball lock Corny kegs because they are easy to clean, easy to service, and work well with common home draft hardware. Smaller kegs are useful for split batches, portable serving, and limited kegerator space. Larger draft systems may call for more keg capacity, extra fittings, spare lids, posts, O-rings, and reliable gas and liquid connections.
Choose the Right Keg
- 5 gallon Corny kegs: the standard homebrew keg size for most 5 gallon batches.
- Small kegs: useful for pilot batches, soda, cold brew, camping, parties, or limited fridge space.
- Sanke-style kegs: a better fit when the system uses commercial couplers and commercial draft hardware.
- Keg parts: lids, dip tubes, O-rings, poppets, posts, disconnects, and other service parts help keep used and new kegs pouring correctly.
Build the Rest of the Draft Setup
Pair your keg with CO2 regulators, gas cylinders or local gas exchange, draft tubing and hardware, and the keg carbonation calculator for serving pressure guidance.
