Kegging Equipment
Kegging Equipment for Homebrew Draft Systems
Kegging makes packaging, carbonating, and serving homebrew faster and more controllable than bottling, but the system works best when the parts are matched correctly. This collection covers the core kegging equipment used for home draft systems: kegs, CO₂ tanks, regulators, disconnects, gas and beverage tubing, faucets, fittings, cleaning gear, and replacement parts.
What you need to keg beer
- Keg: most homebrewers use ball lock Cornelius-style kegs for 5 gallon batches.
- CO₂ tank and regulator: provides controlled pressure for carbonation and serving.
- Gas and beverage lines: line length, diameter, temperature, and pressure all affect pour quality.
- Disconnects and fittings: connect the keg posts to the gas and beverage sides.
- Faucet or draft tower: completes the serving path and should be cleaned regularly.
For local gas service, use our CO₂ tank exchange in Vista. To troubleshoot foamy pours or carbonation targets, use the keg carbonation calculator and compare your pressure, temperature, and beer line setup.
