Hops for Brewing

Hops for Brewing Beer

Shop hops for brewing beer, from classic bittering varieties and noble lager hops to modern aroma hops built for IPA, hazy IPA, pale ale, saison, stout, and experimental recipes. This collection includes pellet hops, whole cone hops, Cryo Hops® when available, and specialty hop products suited to both hot-side and cold-side use.

If you are building a recipe from scratch, start with the beer style and hop role: clean bitterness, late-kettle flavor, whirlpool saturation, dry-hop aroma, or a balanced blend of all four. For a narrower starting point, browse pellet hops, whole cone hops, or our broader brewing ingredients collection.

Hops FAQ

What hop format should I choose? Pellet hops are the most common choice for homebrewing because they store well, measure easily, and work in the kettle, whirlpool, or dry hop. Whole cone hops are useful when you prefer less processed hop material or want a different handling experience.

Which hops are best for IPA? Modern IPA recipes often use expressive citrus, tropical, pine, berry, stone-fruit, or dank varieties. Classic American hops, New World hops, and selected hop blends can all work depending on the profile you want.

How should hops be stored? Keep hops cold, sealed, and protected from oxygen and light. Once opened, use them promptly or reseal and freeze when practical.
