Alesmith IPA Clone Extract Recipe Kit
The Alesmith IPA Clone Extract Recipe Kit adapts a strong San Diego-style West Coast IPA into an extract-with-grains format for a shorter brew day. Pale Ale DME builds the gravity base, while a small mini-mash of Caramel 10L, white wheat, and Munich malt keeps the beer from tasting thin or one-dimensional.
Prefer all-grain? See the Alesmith IPA Clone All-Grain Recipe Kit for the full mash version.
Fermentation Requirements
- Fermenter: Use a clean, sanitized fermenter with enough headspace for a healthy 5 gallon fermentation.
- Temperature control: Keep fermentation steady and follow the yeast or instruction-sheet temperature guidance for the cleanest result.
- Packaging: Confirm fermentation is complete before bottling or kegging, then package carefully to avoid oxygen pickup.
