Briess CBW® Golden Light Dry Malt Extract (DME) is a go-to option for clean, lightly malty beers. With an SRM of ~4, it contributes a pale golden color and subtle malt flavor, making it perfect for a wide range of beer styles—from light lagers to hop-forward IPAs and session ales.
Made from 99% base malt and 1% Carapils® malt, this DME enhances head retention and body without overpowering your hops or adjuncts. It can be used as a full extract base or as a supplement to boost gravity and mouthfeel in all-grain recipes.
