Golden State Common Extract Recipe Kit for California Common Character
Golden State Common is an extract-friendly California Common-style beer inspired by the steam-beer tradition tied to San Francisco brewing history. It is a great choice when you want something more characterful than a pale lager but cleaner and more balanced than a typical amber ale.
This kit builds an amber, malt-forward 5 gallon batch with light caramel, toasted malt, woody-minty hop balance, and the distinctive smoothness of a clean hybrid-style fermentation. Choose it for a classic California-inspired beer that feels familiar, historical, and highly drinkable.
This is the extract version. If you want the all-grain format for a different brew day, see the companion listing: Golden State Common | All-grain Recipe Kit | 5 Gallons.
