Golden Coast Wheat Ale All-grain Recipe Kit for American Wheat Ale Character
Golden Coast Wheat Ale is a clean American wheat beer for brewers who want soft wheat character without the banana-and-clove profile of a Bavarian hefeweizen. American wheat became popular as a refreshing craft-beer staple: pale, smooth, lightly bready, and easy to pair with citrus, warm weather, and casual pours.
This all-grain kit delivers a bright 5 gallon batch with white wheat softness, gentle malt support, and restrained American hop character. Choose it when you want something approachable and refreshing, but still more interesting than a basic blonde ale.
This is the all-grain version. If you want the extract format for a different brew day, see the companion listing: Golden Coast Wheat Ale | Extract Recipe Kit | 5 Gallons.

Flavor and Brewing Character
Expect pale gold color, soft wheat texture, mild breadiness, light citrus, and a crisp finish. It is refreshing as-is and also a good base for careful fruit additions if the brewer wants a seasonal variation.
Fermentation Requirements
- Recommended fermentation range: 64–68°F with clean American ale yeast.
- Pitch healthy yeast into fully chilled wort; do not pitch into hot wort.
- Use gravity readings, not airlock activity alone, to confirm fermentation is complete.
- Package only after gravity is stable and the beer tastes clean for the style.

Brewing Notes
- Default grain handling: included grain is milled by default and packed together unless a listing or order note says otherwise.
- Rice hulls are optional but helpful if your system struggles with wheat-heavy mashes.
- Ferment cool enough to keep the yeast clean.
- If adding fruit, wait until primary fermentation is mostly complete and use excellent sanitation.
