Complete the brew day:
Emberside Old Ale
Old Ale is a traditional British strong ale built around malt depth, maturity, and quiet complexity. It should not drink like a stout or a modern hop-forward strong ale; the appeal is dark caramel, toasted bread, dried fruit, subtle roast shading, and a smooth warming finish that gets better with time.
Emberside is built for that fireside character. Maris Otter brings the bready base, Munich and Brown malt add toast and nuttiness, Crystal 80L and 120L bring caramel and raisin, and a small touch of Pale Chocolate adds color and depth without pushing the beer into porter territory.
Why Brew This Kit
This is a malt-lover’s strong ale with enough complexity to drink slowly and enough balance to avoid cloying sweetness. Brew it when you want a beer that feels old-world, warming, and worth letting mature.
Companion version: This is the all-grain version. If you prefer the other brew-day format, see the Emberside Old Ale extract recipe kit.

Dark caramel, toasted bread, raisin, subtle chocolate, medium-full body, restrained bitterness, and smooth warming strength.
