Bella Strada Italian Pilsner All-grain Recipe Kit for Italian Pilsner / Dry-Hopped Pilsner Character
Bella Strada Italian Pilsner is for brewers who want a refined pale lager with elegance, aroma, and a dry finish. Italian Pilsner emerged from modern Italian craft brewing as a more expressive pilsner: still crisp and highly drinkable, but often with a graceful noble-hop aroma that makes it more vivid than a basic continental lager.
This all-grain kit is built around a pale, precise malt profile with restrained late-hop character and a clean lager fermentation. Expect a brilliant straw-to-gold beer with gentle breadiness, floral-spicy hop lift, firm balance, and the kind of polished finish that rewards careful brewing.
This is the all-grain version. If you want the extract format for a different brew day, see the companion listing: Bella Strada Italian Pilsner | Extract Recipe Kit | 5 Gallons.

Flavor and Brewing Character
Expect pale color, crisp malt, refined bitterness, floral noble hop aroma, light spice, and a clean finish. The dry hop should smell fresh and elegant, not grassy or harsh.
Fermentation Requirements
- Recommended fermentation range: 50–54°F primary; 60–64°F diacetyl rest; 34–38°F cold conditioning.
- Pitch healthy yeast into fully chilled wort; do not pitch into hot wort.
- Use gravity readings, not airlock activity alone, to confirm fermentation is complete.
- Package only after gravity is stable and the beer tastes clean for the style.
- Plan for a diacetyl rest near the end of fermentation if using lager yeast, followed by cold conditioning when possible.
Detailed Kit Contents

Why Brewers Choose This Kit
This kit gives lager brewers a modern, premium pilsner option with more aroma than a standard pils but more finesse than IPA. It is excellent for brewers who care about process and clean fermentation.
Brewing Notes
- Default grain handling: included grain is milled by default and packed together unless a listing or order note says otherwise.
- Use very healthy yeast and oxygenate well.
- Perform a diacetyl rest when gravity is close to terminal.
- Keep the dry hop short and cold to avoid grassy character.
