Universal Stainless Tower Shank with 1/4 Inch Barbed Tailpiece

This stainless steel tower shank fits standard beer faucets, including Intertap, NukaTap, Perlick, and generic front-sealing or rear-sealing faucet styles. The important difference between this shank and the Duotight-compatible version is the beer line connection: this KL01090 shank uses a traditional 1/4 inch barbed tailpiece for draft tubing secured with a hose clamp.

Best Use

Choose this shank when you want a conventional barbed connection inside a draft tower. It is a good fit for kegerators, draft towers, and faucet replacements where you are running flexible beer tubing instead of a Duotight / EVABarrier push-in setup.

Tubing Recommendations

• For 3/16 inch Super Flexible Draft Line Tubing, we recommend using about 8 to 10 feet of beer line for enough restriction to help prevent foaming.
• For 1/4 inch Super Flexible Tubing, we recommend using about 10 to 12 feet of beer line for enough backpressure to serve beer properly.
