The Inkbird ITC-308-WIFI temperature controller is a dual-stage digital controller for brewers who want steadier fermentation temperatures without constantly checking the fermenter. Plug your cooling device into the cooling outlet, plug a heater into the heating outlet, place the probe where it can read your fermentation temperature, and set your target range.

For homebrewing, this is one of the simplest upgrades for cleaner fermentation: use it with a fermentation chamber, refrigerator, freezer, heating wrap, BrewBelt, or similar temperature-control setup to help keep yeast inside its preferred range.

How to Use It for Fermentation

  • Cooling: Plug a refrigerator, freezer, or fermentation chamber cooling source into the cooling outlet.
  • Heating: Plug a compatible heater, fermentation heating wrap, or BrewBelt fermenter heater into the heating outlet.
  • Probe placement: For better beer-temperature tracking, place the probe against the fermenter under insulation or use a compatible thermowell setup.
  • Set the differential: Use heating and cooling differentials to prevent short cycling and keep the system stable.
  • Verify settings after power loss: Inkbird notes that settings are saved, but it is still smart to confirm your controller after any outage.
