White Labs Tropicale Yeast Blend : WLP077

Bring Juicy, Tropical Fruit Aromatics to Modern Ales

White Labs WLP077 Tropicale Yeast Blend is a juicy, ester-forward blend designed for brewers chasing bold tropical flavor and aroma. This proprietary blend includes multiple Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains that emphasize notes of pineapple, mango, guava, and stone fruit—without the use of actual fruit or adjuncts. It was developed specifically to complement today's hazy IPAs, modern pale ales, and fruited sours. Expect excellent biotransformation capabilities during dry hopping, along with a soft mouthfeel and full body. This blend was originally released through the White Labs Innovation program and is now available year-round.

Key Characteristics:

  • Attenuation: 74% - 78%

Our Commitment to Yeast Health

At SoCal Brewing Supply, we store all liquid yeast under ideal refrigeration, monitored 24/7 to ensure consistent quality and viability.

For shipping, we recommend selecting an ice pack and insulated envelope to protect your yeast from temperature swings. It's normal for the ice pack to arrive melted—its job is to buffer against external heat.
