Rich Mouthfeel, Smooth Tannins, and Concentrated Fruit for Reds & Whites

Lalvin ICV D254™ is a premium Saccharomyces cerevisiae wine yeast selected from Rhône Valley Syrah fermentations. It’s widely used when you want enhanced palate weight, rounder mouthfeel, and a polished finish—especially in fuller-bodied reds, while also performing well in select white styles.

Known for moderate fermentation kinetics and low off-aroma risk, D254™ is a reliable choice for building structured, expressive wines with a smooth, integrated texture.
