Classic English Ale Character with Balanced Fruit and Malt

LalBrew® London is a traditional English-style ale yeast selected for its ability to produce balanced, authentic ales with moderate ester profiles and a smooth, malty finish. It is especially well-suited for brewing classic British styles where a soft, clean palate with subtle fruitiness is desired.

This yeast strain preserves delicate hop and malt flavors while promoting a firm yet refined ester presence. Ideal for Extra Special Bitters (ESBs), English Pale Ales, Milds, and more, LalBrew® London delivers excellent attenuation with medium flocculation for beers that are flavorful and true to style.

This 11g sachet is suitable for fermenting up to 6 gallons (23 liters) of wort, making it a convenient option for homebrewers seeking reliable results and consistent performance.

Usage Instructions:

  • Pitching Rate: 50 – 100 g/hL to achieve 2.5 – 5 million cells/mL
  • Rehydration: Sprinkle the yeast onto 10 times its weight in clean, sterilized water at 25°C – 30°C (77°F – 86°F). Let stand for 15 minutes, stir to suspend, then adjust to wort temperature and pitch promptly.

Storage:

  • Store below 4°C (39°F) in a dry, vacuum-sealed package.
  • Once opened, re-seal, refrigerate, and use within 3 days.
  • Do not use yeast past its printed expiration date.
