Ideal Yeast for Hazy and Juicy East Coast Ales
LalBrew® New England is an ale strain selected specifically for its ability to produce a unique fruit-forward ester profile desired in East Coast styles of beer. A typical fermentation with LalBrew® New England will produce tropical and fruity esters, notably stone fruits like peach. Through expression of a β-glucosidase enzyme, LalBrew® New England can promote hop biotransformation and accentuate hop flavor and aroma. This strain exhibits medium to high attenuation with medium flocculation, making it a perfect choice for East Coast style ales.
This 11g sachet is designed to ferment up to 6 gallons (23 liters) of wort, making it ideal for homebrewers.

Our Commitment to Yeast Health
At SoCal Brewing Supply, we take yeast storage and viability very seriously (Yes, even Dry yeasts). We ensure yeast is always stored under optimal conditions, with 24-hour monitoring of refrigerator temperatures to prevent spikes that could negatively impact yeast health.
For Dry yeast shipments, we offer ice packs and insulated envelopes as an optional add-on for customers looking for extra protection during hotter months. It’s normal for ice packs to melt during transit; their purpose is to protect the yeast from extreme temperatures caused by external weather conditions.
